Neale’s journey into brand protection began at Stellenbosch university, where he completed his Honours and Masters degrees, with his Masters focusing on intellectual property protection.
Thereafter, Neale cut his teeth at the biggest IP law firm in Africa, specialising in litigious and non-litigious trade mark and copyright work alike. Neale’s practice has, over the years, incorporated a plethora of global and local start-up and blue chip businesses, representing all with the skill, ingenuity and passion that has become his calling card.
Following a distinguished decade in big law, Neale decided to open his own firm in June 2021. His passion has always been to make Intellectual Property protection more accessible to the general public, taking its protection out of the domain of a select few. This is as much about education as it is about cost and Neale’s goal is that, as NWC Attorneys grows, his efforts will lead to a more large-scale appreciation and utilisation of intellectual property protection.
